Naran Automotive had a memorable presence in 2020, but unfortunately, it has faded from the public's attention since then.
However, they are still in the game, and they have a prototype hypercar scheduled to debut at Salon Privé later this month.
In June, the company shared some information about their "hyper coupe," although they generally prefer to keep a low profile.
Ameerh Naran, the founder, teamed up with Jowyn Wong from WYN Design to create the striking appearance of this car, drawing inspiration from the world of motorsport.
Although details are limited, the car is said to be a sleek coupe with a hood that allows for ventilation, a striking front splitter, and distinctive lighting.
The car also features sporty side skirts, a noticeable rear wing, and "hybrid carbon" wheels backed by a carbon ceramic braking system.
The model features composite body panels with hinged clamshells at each end. We don't have any interior photos yet, but you can anticipate a-
luxurious touch with premium leather and stylish CNC-milled billet aluminum accents. You'll have plenty of options to customize the cabin to your liking.
Some of the materials that have been requested so far include marble, granite, and gold leaf.
The vehicle is equipped with a powerful twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine that generates an impressive 1,048 horsepower and 764 pound-feet of torque.
It is paired with a custom transmission and an all-wheel-drive system that has the ability to switch to rear-wheel drive.
According to Naran, this configuration enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and reach a top-
speed of 200 mph in 16.5 seconds, making it the fastest four-seater without electric power.
Details are limited, but the model will feature hydraulic steering, four-way adjustable dampers, and double-wishbone suspension.
A "racetrack-inspired aero pack" is expected to generate 3,036 lbs of downforce. Prices start at €2 million (~$2.2 million) with a manufacturing ceiling of 39 units.
