Porsche Expands Macan EV Lineup with New Variants

At the start of this year, Porsche unveiled the all-electric Macan with only two variants. Guess what? We have some thrilling news to share! Porsche is excited to-

announce the expansion of its lineup with the addition of two new models, catering to the growing community of electric vehicle enthusiasts.

New Powertrains for Enhanced Performance - Now, the base model offers a rear-wheel-drive option. It still uses the 95.0-kWh battery, but-

now it powers a single motor on the rear axle. This motor, which is also found in the all-wheel-drive Macan 4, produces an impressive 335 horsepower.

It even has an over-boost function that can temporarily boost the output to 355 hp. This base model has an impressive torque peak of 415 pound-feet, enabling-

it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 136 mph. With its rear-wheel-drive setup, the weight of the Macan 4 is reduced by 243 pounds.

By the way, the Macan 4S comes with a fresh rear-mounted motor that works together with the front-axle motor found in the Macan 4 and Turbo.

When working in tandem, they generate an impressive 442 horsepower, which can briefly surge to an even more impressive 509 hp. The 4S has launch control,

allowing it to unleash a maximum torque of 578 pound-feet. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.9 seconds and reach an impressive top speed of 149 mph.

The Macan and the Macan 4S both come with adaptive air suspension and adaptive dampers as standard features. These are controlled by the Porsche Active Suspension-

Management system. You have the option to add rear-wheel steering to both models, and the Macan 4S can be further improved with Porsche's torque vectoring system.

Fresh Design Options - Porsche has unveiled new design elements for the Macan EV, ensuring an exciting experience.

We're thrilled to offer a brand new color option called Slate Grey Neo for all models. Additionally, we've introduced a sleek 20-inch wheel design for-

a fresh look. Porsche also created an off-road design package for the electric Macans, including a redesigned bumper that enhances the approach angle to 17.5 degrees and-

increases ground clearance by four-tenths of an inch in the standard air suspension setting. You can choose between Vesuvius Grey or the car's body color for-

the front bumper, side skirts, diffuser panels, and roof railings. The package also offers optional 21-inch off-road wheels in matching gray.

Availability and Pricing - You can now order both of the new variants, and they are expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.

The 2025 Macan's starting price is set at $77,295, which is approximately $3,000 lower than the Macan 4. On the other hand, the Macan 4S will be available for $86,895.

The expanded Macan EV lineup from Porsche has options to suit every electric vehicle enthusiast, from a capable base model to a high-performance variant.
