By Kevin Joseph October 25, 2024

Hey there, adventure lovers—Scout has returned and is more amazing than ever! After 44 long years, the beloved brand is introducing two thrilling-

new concepts that are bound to spark the enthusiasm for outdoor adventures: the Traveler SUV and the Terra truck.

Both models take cues from the beloved Scout vehicles of yesteryear, blending a sense of nostalgia with modern technology.

Scout isn't just introducing two impressive all-electric models; they're ready to shake up the adventure vehicle market in a big way.

Meet the Harvester, a fantastic optional gas-powered generator that boosts your range to over 500 miles, allowing you to enjoy longer journeys without the hassle of frequent recharging.

The electric vehicles are truly impressive, providing a range of up to 350 miles on just one charge. Although the official specifications haven't been shared yet, Scout has-

hinted that these vehicles will offer an exciting acceleration to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, thanks to their powerful powertrain providing nearly 1,000 pound-feet of torque.

These vehicles are built on a new body-on-frame platform, designed not only for speed but also for impressive rugged capability.

These vehicles can fit tires up to 35 inches, have more than a foot of ground clearance, and are built to handle nearly three feet of water, making them perfect for your off-road adventures.

Some great off-road features are a front sway bar disconnect, mechanical lockers, and a solid rear axle, which all help improve stability and control on tough terrains.

The Traveler SUV really shines with its towing capacity, surpassing 7,000 pounds, and the Terra truck is even more capable, able to haul over 10,000 pounds.

They're great options for anyone looking to transport equipment or trailers! Both vehicles can handle a hefty payload of nearly 2,000 lbs, making it easy to bring along all your adventure gear without any trouble.

With the North American Charging Standard, they come equipped with a cutting-edge 800-volt architecture that allows for-

bi-directional charging and supports up to 350 kW of charging capability, ensuring that recharging is quick and easy.

The Terra truck features a handy 5.5-foot bed, complete with two 120-volt outlets and one 240-volt outlet, perfect for powering tools or accessories wherever you are.

The Traveler SUV comes with a handy integrated spare tire carrier that can hold a 35-inch spare tire. On the other hand,

the Terra offers the option to fit a 33-inch spare underneath or a larger 35-inch spare in the bed, giving you some great flexibility for your needs.

Inside, the vehicles provide a delightful mix of modern technology and classic design.

The tactile climate controls are conveniently placed just below the main screen, reflecting the charming retro design of the original Scout II.

For extra comfort, the Terra provides an optional front bench seat in place of a center console, creating a more open atmosphere, while mechanical door handles bring a hint of classic rugged charm.

Are you excited to have one of these amazing vehicles? Grab yours today for only $100! The Traveler begins at just over $50,000 with some great incentives, while the Terra truck is priced at $51,500,

and both are available for under $60,000. But remember, patience is important—production is scheduled to start in 2027, so prepare yourself for an amazing adventure ahead!
