2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC350e: Boasting a 54-Mile Hybrid Range

In a recent announcement, Mercedes-Benz revealed that the GLC-class SUV, which has been redesigned for 2023,

-will be introducing a new plug-in hybrid variant called the GLC350e in 2025.

Mercedes has just released the pricing and range details for this model. It's capable of traveling up to 54 miles on electric power alone, with a starting price of $61,050.

The GLC350e comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that packs a punch with 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.

The vehicle utilizes a 134-hp electric motor, which generates a combined output of 313 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque.

The car goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds and gets an impressive 60 MPGe in the city and 70 MPGe on the highway.

The GLC350e is equipped with a 24.8-kWh battery, providing an electric range of 54 miles according to EPA estimates.

It's worth noting that this falls slightly short of the initial promise of 81 miles based on the European WLTP cycle.

The battery is capable of fast charging at 60 kW, which means you can get a full charge in approximately 30 minutes.

The plug-in hybrid GLC is offered in three trims: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. It comes equipped with a range of standard features,

-including wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a self-leveling suspension, and keyless start. There are six different wheel options available for buyers, with two of them being exclusive to the GLC350e.

If you're looking for a little something extra in terms of design, you have the option to choose either the AMG Line or Night package.

The Exclusive trim, which costs $62,700, includes additional features such as a Burmester 3D surround-sound system, a 360-degree camera, and illuminated doorsills.

The Pinnacle trim, priced at $64,650, comes with some extra features like a head-up display and noise-insulating glass.

The GLC350e is now in stock at dealerships, and it comes with a base price that is around $10,000 more than the gas-only GLC300.
