2025 Bentley Continental GT Hybrid: Heavier, Mightier

The Bentley Continental GT has undergone remarkable transformations throughout its 21-year journey, consistently-

improving its performance and luxury attributes. Here's a brief overview of the main changes:

2003, the inaugural Volkswagen-era Continental GT debuted, boasting a powerful 552-hp, turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine.

With a weight of 5250 pounds, it made quite an impression.

2012 Update: The revised model now boasts an impressive 567 horsepower and a slightly increased weight of 5264 pounds.

The 2019 Generation brought along some exciting updates, including a powerful 626-hp W-12 engine and a reduced weight of 5056 pounds.

A plug-in hybrid V-8 powerplant with 771 horsepower is new in the 2025 model. Due to its 25.9-kWh battery, the automobile weighs 5421 pounds.

Exterior: The 2025 model has 68% new parts, including linear running lights and “three-dimensional diamond pattern” taillights.

Interior: Redesigned digital instrumentation and additional color and trim choices, including a "Dark Chrome" pack,

make the inside sumptuous. From 10 speakers to 18 speakers, 2200-watt Naim systems are available.

Powertrain: The GT Speed's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 and 187-hp electric motor provide 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft.

The battery increases electric-only range and weight distribution.

Speed: The coupe can achieve 208 mph, but the GTC convertible can only reach 177 mph. Both can accomplish 0-60 mph in 3.1 and 3.2 seconds.

Electric Capabilities: The latest model can reach 87 mph on power alone. It can also recharge its battery while driving, which takes about three hours.

Dynamic Hardware: Features from earlier models include air springs, dual-valve adjustable dampers, rear-axle steering, and 48-volt anti-roll bars.

The Bentley Continental GT stands out among high-performance grand tourers with its power, elegance, and cutting-edge technology.
