Audi remains devoted to its ICE-powered tradition despite the success of the electric A6 Avant e-tron. Video shows the A7 Avant, the A6's spiritual-
successor, being tested in various situations. Audi's choice to rank EVs even and ICEs odd illustrates this shift.
Inspired by the sleek design of the A5, the A7 Avant features a streamlined look with a honeycomb grille, angular headlights, and vertical air curtains.
Though heavily camouflaged, the wagon reveals flush door handles, curvaceous bodywork, a familiar greenhouse, and an upward-sweeping beltline.
The rear end boasts slender taillights connected by a light strip and vertical elements, rounded rear bumper, and dual exhaust system.
The A7 will have a single curved bezel for the OLED gauge cluster and infotainment touchscreen, similar to the Q6 e-tron.
The premium experience may feature a third screen for the front passenger. Audi prioritizes hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains for the upcoming A7 series.
We expect the PHEV to have a 14.4 kWh lithium-ion battery with a 60-mile electric range. S7 and RS7 vehicles will have powerful-
powertrains, including a Porsche Panamera PHEV with nearly 700 horsepower. The A7 Avant and Sportback will use the MLB's upgraded PPC platform.
The new A7 should be more significant than its predecessor, improving room and comfort. While specs are yet unknown, the current A6 estate is 194.5-
